Houston Peace and Justice Center's 5th Annual Awards Dinner

 

Cindy Sheehan featured at HPJC's Awards Dinner Friday, November 9

 

Cindy Sheehan will receive the National Peacemaker Award and deliver the main address at the Houston Peace and Justice Center's fifth annual Awards Dinner. In addition, HPJC will honor Texas State Senator Rodney Ellis, the Houston Area Women's Center, and Urban Harvest's founder and long-time director Bob Randall.

 

The event takes place at the University Hilton Hotel on the UH campus. Take Entrance 1 from Calhoun St. and park either in the garage under the hotel ($6), the one across the street (less), or in the open air parking lot on your right when you first enter campus off Calhoun (free).

 

There will be an cash bar reception at 6 p.m. The dinner will begin at 7 p.m.

 

Tickets are $75. There are larger donor categories that will allow people who cannot afford the ticket to attend (see the reply form). If you need a subsidized seat, don't hesitate to reply with that request. A vegan meal is an option.
