SUMMARY:Meet Author Noah Rattler - Book Party
DESCRIPTION:Meet Noah Rattler\, author of Noah’s walk  – September 24\, 2016 5:00-9:00 PM \nA 1\,800 Mile Journey Raising the Awareness of Homelessness \n312 Fairbanks\, Houston\, Texas 77009 – Home of Judy Hoffhien \nPlan to come this Saturday\, Sept. 24 from 5-9 and  hear local activist Noah Rattler share his experiences about his walk from Houston to Los Angeles.  This long trek was to raise awareness for the homeless\, and his book\, Noah’s Walk\, has been read and studied for the past 5 years at Peace Camp.  Our hope is that we can give this committed pacifist a stronger voice in our community.  This is a wonderful resource for families\, church groups\, scouts\, etc. and can provide an excellent springboard for discussions.  We will serve a pasta vegetarian meal\, and it is byob.  All ages are welcome.   The address is 312 Fairbanks\, 77009.  Please let me know if you can participate\, so I can plan effectively.  Let’s work together to increase our effectiveness in building “The Beloved Community”. \n
