DESCRIPTION:All Houston-area residents are invited to participate in the online Earth Month Ecochallenge. This event offers you the opportunity to care for the earth and all its peoples by taking on a challenge in: climate & ecosystems\, economy & communities\, health & equity\, education & livelihood or basic needs & security.  You can learn about these topics\, take action in your personal life\, advocate or create a new environmental justice/stewardship habit over the course of the 3 weeks of the challenge!!  Two Houston-based teams have already been set up – see the links below to join one of these two teams. DESCRIPTION:Please join us on Wednesday April 5\, 2023\, from 6:00-8:00 PM\, for an intimate conversation with Ethan Michelle Ganz\, a trans nonbinary individual\, who uses all pronouns interchangeably.  Ethan will talk about his journey through self discovery\, self acceptance and understanding. They will discuss how learning about the history of trans and non-binary people in cultures around the globe helped them in their own journey.\n\n\nEthan is an activist\, community organizer\, and advocate who fights for justice and equity. She has worked with organizations\, businesses\, individuals\, and elected officials to create positive change in the world. He strives to educate people about his unique lived experience\, to bring about more understanding and love\n\nThis event is free and open to the public\, with donations encouraged.  It will be held at 3412 Crawford Street\, Houston\, TX 77004.  Free parking is available in Lot 9 at Holman and Crawford/Almeda.  To reserve your spot\, please register no later than April 4\, 2023 @ https://www.centerhealingracism.org/event/we-have-always-been-here/
