SUMMARY:ACR Houston Lifetime Achievement Gala
DESCRIPTION:A Salute to Leaders in the Field of Conflict Resolution\nThe Association for Conflict Resolution Houston (ACRH) Chapter\, a 501c3 since 2001\, is holding its inaugural benefit to raise funds for the professional commitment of local mediators to initiate Peer Mediation programs within schools in the Harris County and contiguous counties. \nThese conflict solution programs will teach junior and senior high school students how to have a better understanding of cultural diversity\, to use communication skills that offer a better understanding of how to stop bullying and promote tolerance\, and to learn how to use conflict management skills to understand and negotiate the dynamics of finding sustainable\, peaceful solutions. These Peer Mediation programs will be implemented through classroom and online formats.
