SUMMARY:Houston Women's March 2020
DESCRIPTION:Please join us at the annual Houston Women’s March on Saturday\, January 25\, 2020.  Our theme this year is “Powerful Together.” On that day\, women and our allies will march for civil rights and democracy and to address human needs and stand up to authoritarian\, divisive and dangerous policies that have been proposed or enacted against marginalized people. \nThe 2020 election may well be the most important of our lifetimes.  We know how important it is to be united in a common purpose. \nPlease join us as we demonstrate on the streets of Houston that we are all Powerful Together.  The march begins at 9 a.m. at the Buffalo Bayou Water Works at 105 Sabine Street.  We will march to City Hall for a rally with grassroots speakers representing progressive organizations and ideals. During the 2019 Houston Women March For Justice\, you’ll have the opportunity to join thousands of people to take actions for justice\, and to learn how help people and organizations in our region. \n  \nStarts at the Houston Cistern and ends at Houston City Hall.
