DESCRIPTION:Building Solid Relationships: At Home\, Work\, School\, Anywhere! is the title of this Nonviolent Communication event facilitated by CNVC Certified Trainer\, Bren Hardt\, long-time member of HPJC.  Staying present and grounded with skills to manage one’s emotions\, speaking with authenticity\, clarity and in a connecting (rather than disconnecting) way\, and listening with curiosity for both content and meaning are the skills of NVC – Nonviolent Communication.  NVC is a globally respected communication set of skills that is serving leaders around the world to be more effective and to build a culture of peace. Workshop will give you time to practice these valuable skills in pairs and small groups.  Offered 2 dates:  3/9 or 4/13.

SUMMARY:Living Compassionately From the Inside Out (a NVC event led by Bren Hardt)
DESCRIPTION:Bren Hardt invites you to a day-trip in Brenham for a workshop (4th annual FUNfest) on the basics of Compassionate or Nonviolent Communication.  If you want to  1) Reclaim our empathic facilities to recognize and honor the common ground we share in all our relationships AND 2) find and empower our voices by aligning what we deeply value with our words and actions\, join us.  All proceeds benefit a scholarship fund for a October Texas International Intensive.  Donation requests range from $50 to $85.  Includes lunch.
