The State of African American Health Townhall & Fair

January 12, 2023 @ 4:30 pm 8:00 pm

The African American Health Coalition (AfAHC) and 100 Black Men of Metropolitan Houston, would like to cordially invite you to the inaugural State of African American Health Town Hall on Thursday, January 12, 2023. The State of African American Health event is focused on addressing the health and wellness of the Black and BiPoc community and potential solutions to create healthier generations. A long-standing history of inequality has negatively affected social determinants of health (SDoH), such as access to affordable health care, healthy food, safe environments, and economic stability.
This event aims to bring together the community and experts to start the conversation to help bridge the gap and bring about change. To create change, we need many partners at the table. You are a dedicated public servant committed to your area and striving to make the Houston/Harris County area a better place for all residents. We hope that you will join us at this event.
The event will be held at the Hardy Community Center, located at 11901 West Hardy Houston, TX 77076, from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm. A health fair will begin at 4:30pm with the town hall starting at 6 p.m. I will send you more details about the agenda after you confirm attendance.
Please confirm your attendance by contacting our team at 832-465-0967 or emailing [email protected] by Thursday, December 29 2022.
