Migrant Children in Crisis – Dehumanization and Deprivation in Immigration Detention

This is an interactive community event that begins with a conversation between physicians and faith leaders. The conversation will focus on the dehumanization and deprivations of children in immigration detention, that compounds the trauma from the conditions from which they flee and the harrowing journey towards the specter of freedom that follows. People of good conscience gathered in the audience will break into groups for discussion about the issues and to explore ways to take action. This event is FREE. Light bites will be provided.
