You are invited to Texas Impact’s Houston Interfaith Advocacy Training

This event prepares you to meet with congressional district offices during
their August recess. TX Impact will be coordinating legislative visits for both
TX state and Congressional legislators after the training during the month of
August. We’ll be focusing on immigration, climate and energy and health
policy.
Join us for a faith leader panel, Advocacy 101 training and
issue-area break-out sessions.
The faith leader panel and Advocacy 101 will be broadcast
via Texas Impact’s Facebook;
and Youtube Channels;
and help promote the event using the Facebook event;
Registration is free, but helpful in event planning.
We are still recruiting event sponsors. Please let us know at:
[email protected] if your congregation/group is interested in
participating, want more information, would like to participate
in the legislative visits, even if unable to attend training.
