No War on Iran! U.S. Out of the Middle East!

As the Trump administration escalates its campaign of violence and sanctions against Iran, and refuses to withdraw U.S. troops from Iraq, the anti-war movement in our country cannot afford to take a break. We must build a mass popular movement that can force the U.S. government to abandon its plans for war on Iran and withdraw from Iraq and other Middle Eastern countries.

Another energetic demonstration against war and imperialism will be held on Sunday, January 19, at 2 pm, at the intersection of Westheimer and Post Oak in Houston.. This is the day before the federal holiday honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and we will be remembering his insight that the U.S. government is “the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today.”

We cannot rely on the major political parties and politicians. It will take direct action by millions of people to defeat war and imperialism, and open the door to revolutionary change.
