Join us to learn about Gaza’s increasingly deteriorating conditions and hear how a broad coalition of activists, academics, veterans, and Palestine solidarity organizers plan to break the siege in this summer’s upcoming Gaza Freedom Flotilla and to draw attention to the inhumane conditions Israeli Occupation and blockades imposes on Palestinians.

Speaker: Col. Ann Wright, Veterans For Peace
Tentative Special Guest Via Video Chat: Palestinian youth from Gaza, who has lived his whole life under Israeli siege

Ann Wright is a Retired US Army Colonel and former US Diplomat who resigned from the State Department in ’03 in opposition to the invasion/war of Iraq. A deeply committed peace & justice activist, she has sailed on three of the more than two dozen Gaza Freedom Flotillas-including the most recent “2016 Women’s Boat to Gaza” carrying Humanitarian aid & construction materials to challenge Israel’s blockade of Gaza. Ann will present an update on the deterioration of Gaza, efforts to challenge Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, and give info on how people can support the movement to break the siege.

All proceeds will go directly to the upcoming 2018 Gaza Freedom Flotilla.
