Campaign, give face and name to political prisoners of Mexico

Nestora Salgado speaks to members of the university community about abuses of power by the Mexican authorities and law enforcement agencies that have left hundreds missing and prisoners. Nestora is touring the United States in her Campaign to give  face and name to the prisoners. Prisoners are not a statistic but are real people with families and rights but go unnoticed by people.

Nestora Salgado is one of the founders of the Community Police of the people located in the state of Guerrero, Mexico. The Community Police was formed in response to abuses of all kinds of organized crime part of the complicity of the police and local authorities.

Nestora will come to Houston on 11 and July 12, 2016. She is touring different states of the Union spreading the struggle for the liberation of several community police officers who are still prisoners in Mexican jails.
