Decolonize Houston: Community Meal and Discussion

FreeLa Raza for Liberation and Houston DSA Racial Justice Working Group invite you to participate in a free community meal and open discussion on decolonizing.
Just a few of the topics:
What does decolonization mean and how do we apply it to our organizing?
Why we need to acknowledge Nature and how important it is to recognize whose land we are standing on.
Identifying the disastrous role that the CAFO’s/Factory Farming industry plays in oppressing people, animals and Nature.
Decolonizing beauty/unraveling western standards on weight.

-Making Seedbombs! This is hands on engagement so be prepared to get dirty. This is a child friendly activity!
