CARAVAN OF GRANNIES STOPPING IN HOUSTON, TEXAS, ON THEIR WAY TO THE US-MEXICO BORDER
We are on a 2,000 mile journey to the border to protest the inhumane treatment of immigrants. And on Sunday, August 5th, we’re stopping for rest in Houston, Texas.
Come down to Guadalupe Plaza Park (or Talento Bilnguae de Houston if you need to beat the heat). Meet the grannies, learn about what they’re doing and how to join the caravan, sign our nationwide petition, and more.
World music program begins at 6 PM.
Featured speakers including Cesar Espinoza (FIEL) and Sobia Siddiqui (CAIR) at 7 PM.
Silent candlelight vigil at the detention center site begins at 8 PM.

After a good night’s rest, we’ll leave the next morning. Hopefully with YOU! You do NOT have to be a grandmother to join the caravan. ALL are welcome!
