Hope Farms Farm Stand

WHY HOPE FARMS?
The typical American diet is contributing to obesity, diabetes, heart disease and other health problems, which cost Americans for than $150 billion per year. Many of our neighbors are marooned in vast urban food deserts without access to fresh affordable food. Equitable access to healthy options will support parents in save their own health, set their children on a path to a healthy future and put our food system on a more humane, sustainable path.
HOPE FARMS
Hope Farms is a project by Recipe for Success Foundation, which was organized in 2005 to combat childhood obesity by changing the way children eat and making it easier for communities to provide healthier diets for our children.
Recipe for Success Foundation’s Hope Farms project is made possible with funding from Wells Fargo, United Healthcare Foundation, the Clay Family, Cigna Healthcare, Walmart Foundation, Simmons Foundation, Boeing Employees, Luby’s Fuddruckers, Coca Cola Foundation, Mahindra and The Mission Continues.
