Making Some Noise for George Floyd

Please join the Center for the Healing Racism on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM (CDT) to commemorate the 3rd anniversary of the murder of George Floyd. The event will take place at 3412 Crawford Street, Houston, TX 77004. If you are a spoken word artist, poet, singer or other performing artist, we invite you to contribute to the ceremony.
Spoken word artist Isabella Zavala will be there making some noise for George Floyd. Isabella is an 11th grade student at Cristo Rey Jesuit College Preparatory School. She plans to major in criminal justice and become a lawyer. Also making some noise for George Floyd will be Alisa and Alejandro Magallon, former members of the Houston Grand Opera chorus. We hope you decide to join us too.
This event is free and open to the public with donations encouraged. Registration is required at: https://www.centerhealingracism.org/event/make-some-noise-for-george-floyd/. Free parking is available in HCC Lot 9 at Holman and Crawford/Almeda.
