Calling people of all faiths and spiritual traditions! Concerned about the upcoming elections, immigration issues, the state of public education, our democracy, women’s health, the climate or gun violence? Join faith leaders and community members from across Houston for an afternoon of inspiration, practical training, and community-building for people who are committed to preserving our democracy. We’ll prepare collectively to address these issues for the midterm elections and beyond! You’ll leave with:
- Practical tools for navigating the Texas legislative process.
- Advocacy and peace-building skills you can put into action.
- A network of faith-based civic leaders from across the Houston region.
- Fresh ideas for turning your values into meaningful civic engagement.
