Por lo menos 78 inmigrantes en el centro de detención Core CIVIC de ICE en el Norte de Houston tienen COVID-19. Acceso a cuidados medicos es sumamente limitado. La incidencia del virus sigue creciendo en Texas, no podemos permitir que COVID-19 se convierta en una sentencia de muerte para los inmigrantes que no deberían de estar atrapados en estos campos de detención! Cierren ICE! Cierren los centros de detención! Liberenlos a todos!
Never Again-Action Houston organiza otra manifestación en Core Civic/ICE Houston Processing Center en 15850 Export Plaza Drive Houston el Viernes 26 de Junio a las 6:30 PM. Esta demostración resguardara la salud de los participantes y se llevara a cabo solamente en nuestros automobiles. At least 78 migrants detained at the Core Civic/ICE facility in north Houston have tested positive for COVID-19. Medical care for them and testing for other detainees is limited. As the number of new cases increases in Texas, the virus could become a death sentence for many people held here and in other detention centers. ICE needs to be shut down! All the camps need to be closed! All the migrants should be freed!
