On Thursday, April 5th, United We Dream - Houston will be hosting a community gathering. We will be discussing important issues such as DREAM, SB4, Coming Elections and the launch of the new Houston Hotline. Please do not miss out on these important conversations now more than ever we need to unite and fight back to stop the deportation and separations of families.

Hola gente hermosa no se les olvide que este Jueves tenemos junta Comunitaria donde estaremos discutiendo sobre temas importantes como lo que esta pasando con el DREAM ACT, la ley SB4 y las proximas elecciones asi como el lanzamiento de la nueva linea de ayuda para la comunidad imigrante. Please join United We Dream this Tuesday May 29, 2018 for a press conference at City Hall as we raise our voices on the anniversary of our Texas Capitol take over, we want to show the city of Houston that we are still resilient and fighting agaisnt SB4. There has been a 60% incrementation in deportations in Harris county making us the national capital of family separations, its time to make City Officials accountable and demand the implementations of policies that will protect our communities. No more racial profiling, no more criminalization of black and brown communities, no more deportations. Houston is our home and We are Here to Stay. #Undocumented #Unafraid #HeretoStay

Love Knows No Borders – Houston

In conjunction with the American Friends Service Committee, we have deep concern surrounding the treatment of families that are seeking asylum in the United States.  We are seeking others with similar concerns to participate in the Love Knows No Borders week of action.  We are focused on bringing attention to this pressing issue through love and nonviolence.  Together, we are calling on the U.S. to end the detention and deportation of immigrants, respect the human right to migrate, and end the militarization of the border.
