Following traditional Catholic remembrance of the events of Good Friday, groups present their reflections on the justice issues of our day, such as racism, worker rights, refugees/dreamers and the death penalty.
The 12th annual Houston Via Colori® Street Painting Festival is one of the city’s signature art and music festivals. More than 200 local and international artists converge on the streets of downtown Houston to create live street paintings right before your eyes. Attendees can enjoy live music performed by local bands and entertainers on three stages, family-friendly activities, and delicious local food and beverages.
