At Main Street Theater we are currently running 2 plays that have, sadly, turned out to be incredibly timely with all that seems to be falling apart in our world:
RFK: A Portrait of Robert Kennedy and Red Hot Patriot: The Kick-A** Wit of Molly Ivins. (The shows run in repertory, alternating days) through August 14.

Climate Reality Leadership Corps Training
Building on the momentum from COP 21, The Climate Reality Project will be conducting an intensive three-day training, led by its Chairman Al Gore, running August 16–18 in Texas. The training will bring together pioneers, change agents, and proven leaders from across business, government, and civil society sectors to enable participants to develop the skills, relationships, and connections to help implement the agreement reached in Paris.

We are a diverse coalition of educators, students, researchers, academics, parents, clinicians, lawyers, advocates, and detention officers who are committed to breaking the school to prison pipeline through creative, community driven models of restorative justice. We seek solutions that will strengthen communities, keep people accountable for their actions, and reintegrate those who have harmed society.
